Yes — the business is located at 1425 Columbia Gorge Way in Cascade Locks. A launch fee of $5 per person applies if you bring your own vessel and use the parking and launch. If you rent from them, parking adjacent to the launch location is available (by implication of the address and location).

Wear or bring footwear that can get wet or dry quickly. Bring sun-protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) and maybe a change of clothes.

Yes — all rentals and tours include paddles, USCG-certified personal flotation devices (PFDs), and whistles. We’ll also give you a quick orientation on how to use the gear and where to go.

Yes — absolutely! Our SUP boards are selected for stability and ease of use, and we provide a short orientation before you launch so first-timers feel comfortable. If you’re new to SUP, we recommend choosing a broader board and staying within the protected cove until you’re comfortable

Yes — safety is our top priority. If conditions exceed safe limits (high wind, chop, or current), we may pause rentals or move to a more sheltered part of the cove. Our staff assesses conditions each day and will advise you at check-in if there are any limitations.

We welcome paddlers ages 8 and up (age guidelines may vary for certain programs). For safety and comfort, we recommend SUP users weigh under 300 lbs and kayak users under 350 lbs; height is less of a factor, but children under ~48 inches should first be in tandem or guided options. If you have special considerations, please call ahead.

1425 Columbia Gorge Way in Cascade Locks by Bear Mountain Forest Products. It’s a protected cove off the Columbia River called Herman Creek Cove and there is miles of paddling in the cove and up Herman Creek.

Vessels come with paddles, PFDs, whistles, and instructions on how to use the vessels and where to go.

Yes, there’s a $5 fee per person to use our parking and launch. You will need to carry your vessel to the water

Yes you can bring food, drinks, and other gear and store them in the kayak or at our location during the rental. The kayaks have built-in storage for personal items. They can even be turned into a cooler if you bring ice.

All our boards are about 10 feet long and great for beginners!
